I Am Your Beast VR on Steam: Find the Right Product

The Steam VR product to look for

Use I AM YOUR BEAST VR, app 3844740. The listing is marked VR Only and gives September 17, 2026 as its release date. Flat2VR Spark and Strange Scaffold are the developers; Impact Inked is the publisher. Information here was checked on October 22, 2026.

The original game is app 1876590. Do not use the presence of that original in your library as proof of owning the VR edition. Open the VR page while signed in and inspect the purchase or library status for that exact product.

Is it still an upcoming Early Access game?

Flat2VR's dated launch announcement says the game is out on Steam. An older promotional page still mentions a future SteamVR Early Access release, but the current Steam page checked for this article did not show an Early Access section. Use the live purchase page and current announcements when determining status rather than recycling a prelaunch description.

If the page shown in your region differs, record the date and the exact text. “Announced for Steam,” “released on Steam,” and “currently in Early Access” are distinct claims and should each have their own evidence.

Hardware checks before installation

The store's VR-support field names OpenXR and Meta Quest Touch. Treat it as the product's stated support information, not a universal compatibility list for every headset or controller. Confirm your own configuration with current official information before purchase.

The listed game requirements also contain an old Windows reference, alongside Steam's notice that its client requires Windows 10 or later. Do not use the older OS line to conclude that a current Steam installation works on Windows 8. For streaming, the connection tool adds its own requirements; Valve documents these on the Steam Link support page.

Language, saves, and DLC

The VR product currently lists English interface, full audio, and subtitles. Changing the Steam shop language does not translate the game. Steam Cloud is listed, but that alone does not establish compatibility with saves from the original game.

Check any DLC against the required app. Quitting Time's original-game listing is not evidence that it works with app 3844740. Keep purchases and troubleshooting questions tied to the exact Steam product number.
