I Am Your Beast PS4: What Is Actually Confirmed?

Is a PS4 edition confirmed?

As of October 22, 2026, the official PlayStation product page identifies I Am Your Beast as a PS5 title. The page checked for this guide does not offer a PS4 version. No confirmed PS4 release date was established from that official listing.

That is a statement about the available evidence, not a prediction that a PS4 edition can never happen. If a future announcement changes the situation, it should name PS4 explicitly. Until then, a general “PlayStation” search result is not enough to support a PS4 purchase.

Why some results can be misleading

Store category pages and publisher catalogues may group PS4 and PS5 games together. Being present in such a category does not identify the platform of every individual game. Open the exact product and read its platform field.

A physical release also needs the same check. Lost In Cult's official disc listing specifies PS5. A boxed copy is not automatically a PS4 edition, and a different cover does not change the console build it contains.

How to verify a future PS4 claim

1. Find an official developer announcement or a live PlayStation Store product.
2. Look for an explicit PS4 platform label and the exact edition name.
3. Distinguish a native installation from a streaming description.
4. Check the announcement date and region, rather than repeating an undated snippet.

If a retailer offers a preorder, compare its platform and release details with the publisher's information before paying. A placeholder date alone does not establish a confirmed launch.

What can a PS4 owner do now?

Avoid buying the PS5 listing expecting a PS4 download. If you also own another device, verify its own official product page and requirements separately. The Steam original, Xbox version, Nintendo versions, and PC VR edition have distinct listings; owning one should not be assumed to unlock the others.

For PS4 specifically, the useful next evidence is an explicit official platform announcement, not a broader list of places where the franchise appears.
