I Am Your Beast: S-Rank Every Level Set
Plan consistent S-rank attempts, separate campaign and challenge goals, and use community runs without copying unsupported time limits.

Separate the S-rank goals
Start by deciding which set you want to finish. Steam describes Tyrants Better Run as earning S-ranks in all story levels and A Really Good Day as earning S-ranks in all challenge levels. Those are separate achievement goals; completing the campaign alone does not satisfy either one. Official achievements.
Keep a checklist based on the ranks visible in your own level selector. Put Support Group and Cold Sweat on separate lines rather than assuming that one achievement’s wording covers every additional set. A menu scene without a rank display should not be treated as a missing S merely because it has a chapter number.
Diagnose the result before changing the route
An S-rank attempt combines objective execution, movement, and the game’s scoring rules. Community walkthroughs show why the shortest-looking path is not automatically the best-performing path: useful kills and environmental opportunities can justify actions that appear to add distance.
Do not equate a video’s elapsed duration with the exact rank threshold. Read your current level’s result screen and compare like with like. A score-focused scenario deserves a different plan from an arena in which your immediate problem is reaching the objective and exit quickly.
Use a repeatable practice cycle
- Complete the level at a comfortable pace and identify its requirements.
- Choose an opening that reliably supplies the tools for the next encounter.
- Mark one place where you hesitate or backtrack.
- Change only that section, then compare complete results.
- Keep the improvement only if you can repeat it.
A route that occasionally produces a spectacular result but usually collapses is a poor practice baseline. Stabilize the transitions between encounters before adding a difficult shortcut. Also separate a restrictive bonus-objective attempt from a rank attempt when the two demand different behavior.
Read demonstrations as examples
Tranurz’s community walkthrough covers story and Challenge runs alongside bonus objectives. SomeMug’s later community directory also includes Support Group and Cold Sweat. These are player examples, not official universal routes.
Compare the first pickup, target order, and exit approach with your own plan. Adopt one useful idea at a time. Exact S times, assist eligibility, and differences between editions should be checked in the version you are playing; this guide does not supply an unverified threshold table.
Start with a named Support Group stage
A stage-specific example is easier to compare than an entire compilation. SomeMug's community video directory identifies three useful Support Group chapters:
| Stage | Position in Support Group | Video chapter | Focus in our guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Locked Out | 4 | 44:00 | Compare objective execution and route sections |
| Look Down | 6 | 46:00 | Practice changes in height and landing transitions |
| Fisticuffs | 7 | 47:11 | Practice the approach to close-range encounters |
Those times locate chapters in a video; they are not level completion times. The full Support Group list gives the other entries in order.
