I Am Your Beast Switch 2: Native Listing and Release

There is a dedicated Switch 2 version

I Am Your Beast has an official Nintendo Switch 2 product page, identifying Switch 2 as the console and October 20, 2026 as the release date. As checked on October 22, it is a released digital listing rather than merely a future platform announcement.

This is useful because “playable on Switch 2” can mean different things. Nintendo also sells a Switch edition with compatibility information for the newer console. The two product pages should be compared before deciding which edition you want.

What the store actually confirms

The Switch 2 page lists one player, TV, tabletop, and handheld play, and English in its language field. It names Strange Scaffold as developer and publisher. Those details answer basic questions about the product without requiring assumptions about its performance.

The page alone does not establish a specific frame rate, output resolution, mouse control mode, or gyro aiming option. Nor does a dedicated version automatically prove a free upgrade for an existing Switch owner. Check explicit purchase terms or developer specifications for those questions.

Comparing the editions before checkout

Open the original Switch page alongside the Switch 2 page. Confirm the selected console, account region, download requirements, and price. If an upgrade or ownership offer appears, read its exact eligibility conditions rather than extrapolating from another game's policy.

If your concern is playing the version you already own, use the compatibility notice for that version. If your concern is obtaining the dedicated Switch 2 edition, verify that exact item in the basket. These are separate checks even though the title is the same.

Content and language reminders

A Nintendo launch date for the base game does not confirm that every DLC is included or released on the same platform. Inspect the add-on listing for Quitting Time separately.

Likewise, a Portuguese product page does not indicate Portuguese in-game text. The verified listing shows English variants. This website's translated guides should never be mistaken for an expansion of official game-language support.
